My child you don’t have to cling to me

For I have you in my arms

I wont let you go

I won’t forget you my precious child

Like a mother never forgets her child

Rest my child, rest in my arms

You have no need to fear

Don’t wriggle and pull away

Rest in my arms my child, just rest
