I am married born again Christian with two grown up boys and I go to Birchington Baptist Church in Kent UK
I have been writing poetry since I was sixteen and they have been a real comfort and guide to me through many ups and downs that I have been through
In July 2011 was able to put together and pay for a book of my poetry to be put together and I am very pleased with the results so now I would like to share it with you and my prayer is that it will bless you and encourage you and probably even challenge you
Its a journey from starting with no faith through seven stages of growth in the Christian faith it can be read as a journey or just dipped into where ever you like
The Lord has blessed me with so many poems over the last several “years”
I have always wanted to share these with my brothers and sisters all over the world
Last summer the Lord provided funds to be able to get a book published called Journey into hope
It is a book for all ages and all stages of the Christian walk and it is split into seven sections each taking the reader on a journey of discovering Jesus
1 Worldly poems is a section of poems I wrote about things of the world
2 Question poems is a section here I was questioning my life and its meaning
3 Seeking and drawing is a section where I was seeking the Lord and the Lord was drawing me to Himself
4 Heaven and earth respond is all about submitting to God and his continued calling into my life
5 Challenging others is all about after committing my life fully to Christ I had a desire to share my faith and love that I felt from God
6 Blessings and gifts is all about the awesome gifts and blessings that gives to us as we learn to live for him
and finally there is a chapter on a walk of faith which is about as I grew stronger in the faith and was moving on with the life I now had
So I would encourage you to take a look and listen to the spirits leading. God has made this book and he made it with the purpose to touch peoples lives, to comfort and challenge them so God bless you all and hope you enjoy my book and my website
